Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade: According to a plan scheduled for next year, the level of scientific interactions of the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center exceeds the set of ECO member states, and in fact its activity is international.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Mehdi Karbassian stated in the second workshop of ECO Experts: "Given the subject of resistance economics, the Supreme Leader has emphasized the importance of mining as an alternative to petroleum-based development. It is seen as a positive step towards establishing a scientific interaction between the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center and the ECO member states.

He added: "The Eco geographical area is the corridor of Asia's connection to Europe and has the potential to become one of the major economic hubs in the world."

According to Karbassian, the ECO member states are in terms of mineral resources (ranked fifth after China, the US, Russia and Australia) and in terms of energy (with about 6% share of world energy production), strategic location and manpower, They have a desirable place in the world and can, with convergence, provide good development.

Chairman of the Executive Board of the Organization for the Development of Mines and Minerals Renovation of Iran (Imidro) added: In addition to enhancing the interactions of the mining and mineral industries with ECO member states, this kind of relations with the successful countries of the world such as Canada, Australia, South America and others should be expanded. And at future conferences, we welcome the scientists of these countries.

He added: "Using the existing capabilities and capabilities of the ECO member states can benefit from the experience of the EU and ASEAN countries and play a more active and decisive role in global developments while further economic integration."

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade considered the security of the region to be a matter of developing cooperation with the respective countries, adding that the development of scientific, technical and economic relations with these countries would lead to the creation of a unified power and would lead to economic synergy.

He said: Iran is not comparable to two decades ago in the current period and can export knowledge to different countries and, of course, given the scientific advances, it should also benefit from world-class knowledge. According to Karbassian, universities have limited capacity for international interaction, but Imidro, with the support of experts, can hold large conferences and provide the necessary support for the development of international relations.

He added: Iran Mineral Processing Research Center has valuable facilities and is a center of thought, thought, mobility and innovation which in addition to its active specialists, must be used by other specialists of the country to achieve international goals.

The results of the exploration work carried out by Imidro and the Geological Survey of Minerals over the past two years will be announced in the next two months, Imidro's chief of staff noted, noting the development of the country's exploration programs.
