He said: the infrastructure project needs a budget of 800 billion tomans this year, and we need 200 billion tomans in the field of small mines rehabilitation and activation project.
Jafari, referring to the need to provide infrastructure funding for the activation of small mines, added: "One of the most important problems in activating small mines is the creation of infrastructure and access roads, which can be funded to help activate small mines and create jobs in deprived areas."
He added: Activation studies of 34 mines are underway, which will be completed in the next 3 months. Considering that most of the small inactive mines are owned by the private sector and the infrastructure and construction of roads in these areas is one of their problems for activating the mines, it is necessary to emphasize the need to pay attention to the infrastructure in these areas.
Increase the budget of the Mining Insurance Fund
In this meeting, Jafari announced an increase of 600 billion Tomans in the budget of the Mining Activities Investment Insurance Fund this year and specified: of this amount, 400 billion Tomans will be allocated from government salaries and 200 billion Tomans from Imidro.
Referring to the credit of the Mining Investment Insurance Fund, the Chairman of Imidro said: "If this fund is supported, the result will be to provide good facilities to investors in this field."
Keshavarz, Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, also stressed the need to pay attention to this sector in the field of exploration, referring to the aerospace geophysics program in the Geological Survey, and called for increasing the funds allocated for this sector this year.
