Issuing directives to create the hour of export disaster
Chairman of the Export Development Faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly: Issuing directives to create the hour is one of the problems of exports. These directives do not give the opportunity to react to exporters.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Ali Akbar Karimi, Chairman of the Export Development Faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated in a symposium on the country's export development programs, which was attended by the Minister of Industry, MPs, associations, organizations and economic activists: It is economic, and if we are looking for a boom in production, its path passes through the export corridor.
Emphasizing the need for a new view and approach to the field of exports, he continued: The traditional view of the field of exports must change, the correct approach to exports in the current situation is the way forward.
The head of the Export Development Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly considered exports as a factor of national power and added: "We should have a strategic and long-term view of exports and the view that exports should be done from surplus production should be changed."
Emphasizing that our country's share of world exports should be increased, Karimi said: "There are capacities, potentials and capabilities necessary for this increase, we just need to change the way we look."
"China, for example, has put this approach on the agenda and has accumulated a lot of added value," he said, noting that we need to move towards exports to target markets.
The head of the Export Development Commission explained that we are looking for more export incentives: "We want export incentives to have a permanent source of funding other than government resources."
Karimi also considered the issuance of Khalq al-Sa'eh directives as an export problem and added: "These directives do not give the exporters a chance to react and exports should not be sacrificed in any case."
