He pointed out that the increase in the number of active mines was one of the reasons for the triple jump in mining in the province. He said that the number of active mines in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, which was 39 at the beginning of the government, had reached 53 at the end of last year. .

He added: "Currently, 823 people are working in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad mines, while eight years ago, 614 people were working in the province's mines."

The head of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Industry, Mining and Trade Organization emphasized: a 25% increase in employment in the province's mines is due to the increase in mining in the province, which has been made possible by efforts to increase investment and optimal productivity in this area.

Hosseinpour also announced a fivefold increase in the amount of investment in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad mines in the government of Tadbir and Omid and said: The amount of investment for the prosperity of the province's mines has increased to 835 billion rials last year.

He added: Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad rich mines include cement, marble, lime, gypsum, carcass stone, marl, sand, sand, phosphate, bauxite and celestine.

The head of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, pointing out that the amount of exploitation licenses issued by the province's mines in 1992 was 231, said: The number of exploitation licenses issued by Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad mines has increased to 279 in the past.

Hosseinpour added: 5,600 km of the province area was investigated and studied in the eleventh and twelfth governments, while before 1392, only 4,400 km of the province area was investigated and studied. Had taken.

He said: The semi-detailed and detailed exploration area of ​​Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, which was 100 km until eight years ago, has now increased to 150 km.

Hosseinpour stated: Currently, 7,014 kilometers of the province are being explored.

Hosseinpour emphasized: non-renewability, Anfal mineral resources, the importance of currency and helping to develop non-oil exports, the capacity to meet the needs of a large part of domestic industries in the national economy and the country's progress are the benefits of mining productivity.

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad in southwestern Iran are among the Zagros Basin and mines in the non-metallic sedimentary basin. According to available statistics, the most mines in the province are located in Boyer-Ahmad city with 22 cases and the most active mines are located in Gachsaran city with 12 cases.

Due to its ability to produce export products with the possibility of added value and diversity and dispersion of mineral resources, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad can contribute to economic growth and development programs, especially in deprived areas.
