Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade and Chairman of Imidro Executive Board, considered infrastructure development as one of the most important factors in the revitalization and activation of small mines and announced an increase in the budget in this sector.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, "Wajihullah Jafari" in a video conference with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, managers and experts of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and some Imidro deputies and managers, on the role of development Infrastructure in the activation of small mines emphasized.
In this meeting, which was held in order to determine government rights in the infrastructure sector of Imidro asset acquisition projects, Jafari said: the infrastructure project needs 800 billion tomans of budget this year and we need 200 billion tomans in the field of small mines rehabilitation and activation plan.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imidro, referring to the need to provide infrastructure funding for the activation of small mines, added: One of the most important problems in activating small mines is the creation of infrastructure and access roads, which can be funded to help achieve the activation of small mines and thus create jobs in deprived areas.
The Deputy Minister of Industry pointed out: Activation studies of 34 mines are underway, which will be completed in the next three months, and considering that most of the small mines are inactive in the private sector and infrastructure and road construction in these areas is one of their problems to activate mines. , It is necessary to emphasize the need to pay attention to infrastructure in these areas.
According to the report, 253 small and medium-sized mines were rehabilitated and activated in the country last year, and the performance of this sector exceeded 26% of the projected targets.
Increase the budget of the Mining Insurance Fund
In this meeting, Jafari announced an increase of 600 billion Tomans in the budget of the Mining Activities Investment Insurance Fund this year and specified: of this amount, 400 billion Tomans will be allocated from government salaries and 200 billion Tomans from Imidro.
Referring to the credit of the Mining Investment Insurance Fund, the Chairman of Imidro said: "If this fund is supported, the result will be to provide good facilities to investors in this field."
At the meeting, Assadollah Keshavarz, Deputy Minister of Mines, referring to the geophysical program of the Geological Survey of the Geological Survey, stressed the need to pay attention to this sector in the field of exploration and called for increased funding for this sector this year.
