The number of exploitation licenses in Sabzevar mines has doubled
Head of Sabzevar Industry, Mining and Trade Department: The number of mining licenses in this city has doubled in the eight years of the government of prudence and hope compared to the previous years.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Ali Omidbakhsh added: At the beginning of 1393, less than 90 mines were active in the cities of Sabzevar, Joven, Davarzan, Jaghtai, Khoshab and Shashtmad in western Khorasan Razavi, which during the eight years of the government of prudence and hope It has increased to 165 mines.
He continued: "The licenses issued by these mines are in the field of exploitation and extraction of various mineral minerals, chromite, manganese, limestone and building stones."
The head of Sabzevar Department of Industry, Mines and Trade said: "Also, in order to prevent the sale of raw materials and expand the activities of the mines and mining industries, several processing units, including chromite, manganese concentrate and mineral ore processing plants, have been put into operation in this region."
Referring to foreign investment in the Sabzevar mining sector, he added: "The ferrosilicon manganese factory is in operation with the investment of a Chinese company and a daily production of 80 tons in the sixth city."
Sabzevar city is one of the mineral hubs of Khorasan Razavi province and so far exploitation licenses have been issued for about 165 mines with various metal and non-metallic minerals including chromite, manganese, limestone, aluminum, various building stones and carcass stones in this city.
Sabzevar is located 230 km west of Mashhad.
