Investment in the mining sector of Bushehr province more than tripled
Head of Mines Affairs Department of Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province: The amount of investment in the mines of this province increased by 309% last year compared to the previous year.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Rashid Moradi announced: Last year, 13 mining licenses were issued with an investment cost of 270 billion rials and employment of 82 people in the province.
Referring to the 44% increase in the number of mining cases in the province last year, he said: In the field of employment of new mines in the province, a 49% increase has been achieved in this sector.
Rashidi, referring to the 100 percent increase in exploration licenses last year, said: "Last year, 47 extraction permits were issued, which is a 46 percent increase over the same period last year."
He said: more than 68 billion rials of government salaries have been received from miners in the province, which shows a 95% increase over the same period.
There are currently 150 active mines in Bushehr province.
Mixture of mountain (sand), building stones (carcasses - high-grade limestone), dovomite, raw materials of cement and gypsum has the largest volume of extraction from the mines of Bushehr province.
