3 important obstacles to the jump in production in the country
An economic expert: Barriers to access to banking facilities, excessive imports and rising currency prices are among the most important obstacles to the jump in production in our country.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Hossein Raghfar, a professor at Al-Zahra University, added: "Manufacturers in the country are facing many deadlocks to achieve liquidity."
He continued: "Banks do not easily provide facilities to producers, because the production process in our country is long."
The economist said that the profit of bank facilities is also very high for producers and the producers themselves prefer to enter markets such as currency and coins, which bring them more profit, instead of using these bank facilities in production. .
Raghfar continued: "Unfortunately, in the long production process, when producers reach the desired product, they also face a big obstacle, because they face excessive imports, which have caused many producers to go bankrupt."
The professor of Al-Zahra University said: "Improper import of luxury goods by some people, who generally have rents for power and wealth, has caused production to decline in our country."
He added: "Banking facilities are also easier to give to importers, because they can easily use the money received."
Regarding the unprecedented increase in the exchange rate, which is another important obstacle to production, Raghfar said: "The unprecedented increase in the exchange rate is the most important stimulus for inflation in the country and unfortunately, it does not decrease due to government policies."
The professor of Al-Zahra University said: the increase in the price of currency and also the uncontrolled outflow of currency from the country, will cause inflation in the country in the next few years and will be one of the important obstacles on the way to production.
He continued: the adoption of cumbersome regulations also causes production in our country to face major problems and proceed slowly.
Raghfar added: "Some political issues, such as sanctions, must be eliminated in order to provide safe conditions for increasing production in the country."
