Head of Markazi Province Industry Organization: 1,592 billion rials of government salaries were received last year from the mining activities of this province, which is a growth of about 201% compared to the same period before.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Saeed Jafari Karhroudi stated: Last year, 1,731 billion rials were invested by the private sector in the mines of Markazi province.
Referring to the 54% growth of employment in the mines sector of Markazi province, he added: 278 new employment opportunities were created in the mines of Markazi province last year, which has increased by 54% compared to the same period of the previous year. Also, 46 mining licenses were issued in the province last year.

Jafari stated: 29 explorations and 42 mining discovery certificates were issued last year in different parts of the province, which has increased significantly compared to the same period before.
Referring to the 201 percent increase in government salaries last year, he continued: 1,592 billion rials of government salaries were collected last year from the mines of this province and deposited in the treasury, which has increased by about 201 percent compared to the same period before.
In the end, the head of Markazi Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated: More than 42 types of minerals have been identified in Markazi Province and facilities for mining tungsten, tin, molybdenum, gold, copper, andalusite, black marble, granite, precious and ornamental minerals There are turquoise, chrysocola, jasper, azurite and malachite, opal, quartz crystal, erpiman (sulfur arsenic), bentonite and calcite in the area.
