Creating more than 41,000 new jobs in industrial estates last year
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade announced the creation of 41,501 new jobs in industrial estates across the country last year.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Ali Rasoulian" added: "The main occupations in the fields of metal, chemical, food, beverage, non-metallic minerals, cellulose, textile, services and electricity and electronics."
He added: "This new employment rate shows a 30% growth compared to 1398."
The CEO of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran pointed out: According to the plan, this year at least 3,500 projects with employment of 55,000 people will be put into operation from the location of economic enterprises in industrial towns across the country.
Regarding the launch of new units, he explained: Economic activists, referring to the optimization system of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, first go to stagnant units and then units that have been acquired by banks due to debt, and the priority is to reactivate them, otherwise Permission to create new units is granted.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: Last year, 4,513 hectares of land were handed over for the activity of 10,627 new economic enterprises in industrial towns.
He stated: "This statistic has increased by 82% in terms of land and has increased by 83% in terms of the number of enterprises compared to 1398."
Rasoulian said: "There are about 10,000 enterprises with more than 60% physical progress in industrial estates, which, if an average of 20 jobs are created in each of them, will lead to the employment of 200,000 people."
According to this report, the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran and its provincial subsidiaries now have 823 towns and industrial zones and three special economic zones in operation, 78 towns and specialized industrial zones, 6 technology towns, 38 technology and business service centers. Work, two IT complexes and software services, 90,074 contracts concluded and operation of 46,822 industrial units and 3,078 workshop units, have provided direct employment for 941,558 people across the country. .
