Stability in international relations should be the top priority of the 13th government
Professor of Economics, Mazandaran University: The main priority of the government in the last months of activity and the most important goal that the future government should pursue is "lifting sanctions" and stability in international relations.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, less than two months are left until the presidential election and the beginning of the 13th government. Iran's economy, which has faced many problems at home and abroad over the past few years, is expected to experience a new chapter as the new government approaches and talks to revive Borjam are under way.
In addition, the Supreme Leader, who has paid special attention to the issue of production and private sector activists in the past few years, in his Nowruz message named this year the year of "production, support and dismantling" and said: "Revolutionary slogan of production leap "This year must be fully realized with full support."
According to President Hassan Rouhani, this slogan is a continuation of the slogan of recent years, and this year the government will do its best to remove obstacles for production activists.
In this regard, he emphasizes that what is most important today is the comprehensive support for strengthening production and improving the business environment, which depends on the cooperation and synergy of all relevant agencies and forces. This is a point that economic activists and experts also want to realize in the current situation.
In this regard, the professor of economics at Mazandaran University believes that the main priority of the twelfth government in the last months of its activity and the most important goal that the new government should pursue is "lifting sanctions"; This is because it puts a lot of pressure on the economy and deprives it of the possibility of any reform and reconstruction in the body of the economy, while if we manage international tensions and the political factions reach an understanding, maybe an opening for change can be found.
Zahra Karimi added: The record of Hassan Rouhani's government, especially in the second term, is not acceptable. Because despite the promises made, this government could not meet the expectations of the people. But we must be realistic and not blame the government for all the blame. It is as if any government that comes to power after Hassan Rouhani's government will face problems that are beyond its capacity to solve. In economics, it is quite clear to economists that it is not possible to solve all economic problems in the context of economics, and there are different decision-making institutions that give them priority in decision-making.
The professor of economics at Mazandaran University continued: "In my opinion, internal problems will be solvable by solving the problems that the economy faces in the international arena." Karimi reiterates that the internal problems of the economy, including the issue of inflation, have solutions that are currently beyond the decisions and power of the government; Thus, such problems are expected to be resolved consistently in international relations.
"It is clear that our producers today have problems and concerns that need to be addressed through the removal of international barriers," he said. The need for modern machinery and equipment and access to export markets are two important components that play a very important role in facilitating the business environment for Iranian manufacturers, and these two components will not be operational unless they solve the problems that exist in the international arena.
He added: "Also, one of the problems that the economy is currently facing is the widespread and deep penetration of corruption in various areas, which is very difficult to solve in the current situation." Therefore, the next government should pay special attention to solving this problem from the very beginning.
