More than 859 billion rials were invested in the industry and mining sector of Razorjorglan
Head of Industry, Mining and Trade Department of Razoojrglan: Last year, 859 billion and 900 million Rials were invested in the industry, mining and production sector of this border city of North Khorasan.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Nasser Ghadimi stated: "Last year, 74 billion and 400 million rials were invested in the city's trade sector, creating 232 jobs."
He added: "In the meantime, 35 licenses have been issued in the industrial sector with employment of 156 people and 2 licenses for extraction of barite mine with employment for 10 people in Razoojrglan."
Ghadimi pointed out: Last year, 10 billion and 400 million rials were invested in the field of home businesses and handmade carpets in the city, creating 48 jobs.
Referring to the annual extraction of 500 tons of barite ore in this border city, he reminded: in the first 6 months of last year, 2 permits for exploration of barite mine with employment for 6 people were issued in Razoojrglan.
He added: Barite is used in oil wells, petrochemical industries and the production of health and beauty products.
North Khorasan has a 301 km border with Turkmenistan, most of which is located in the cities of Raz and Jirgalan.
The city has three districts and six villages and 95% of the population of this area are rural.
