Identify 1,700 promising mineral areas across the country
Imidro's director of exploration announced the identification of 1,700 promising mineral areas with an area of 110,080 square kilometers throughout the country.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Ali Asgharzadeh" added: "By the first half of March of last year, the identification and search phase activity of about 478,343 square kilometers has been completed and released."
He continued: "Of these, 66,000 square kilometers have been transferred to the private sector and 123,827 square kilometers are under construction."
The director of Imidro Exploration, pointing out that according to the laws, the exploration license must be issued to Imidro by the industry, mining and trade organizations of each province, said: Have been assigned to the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of the respective provinces.
He added: 63 exploration licenses in various minerals such as lead and zinc, gold, copper, iron, coal, brine, etc. have been issued in the name of Imidro and its subsidiaries, and exploration operations are being pursued in licensed areas. . 30 areas are also in the licensing stage and for 4 areas, a discovery certificate has been issued.
