Three thousand billion rials of investment was realized in the city of Mahallat
Head of Industry, Mining and Trade Department of Mahallat city: 3,970 billion Rials of investment was realized last year in this city from the functions of Markazi province. This volume of investment has been obtained by issuing 12 exploitation licenses in the field of stone processing.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Mohammad Jamal Abbasi" added: "This amount of investment was able to create 49 sustainable job opportunities last year."
He stated: 65 establishment licenses were issued last year in the industrial sector of Mahallat city, and the estimated capital required for their realization is 6,410 billion rials.
The head of industry, mining and trade of Mahallat city added: the operation of these units will provide 1,070 job opportunities in the field of stone cutting and processing and ancillary industries.
Jamal Abbasi said: "There is an industrial town, a district and 2 industrial hubs in Mahallat city, in which 290 licensed industrial units operate and more than four thousand sustainable job opportunities have been created in them."
He added: "There are 115 mines in Mahallat city, of which 75 units are active, of which 62 units are active in the field of travertine."
The head of the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Mahallat city added: the 50% share of the economy of Mahallat city from the production of raw and decorative stones has been able to create a suitable prosperity for this city.
Mahallat city, located in the south of Markazi province, has a population of 55,000 and is famous for producing decorative stones, flowers, plants and knitwear.
