The window of the mining unit was inaugurated on Monday during a ceremony in Mashhad in order to expedite and facilitate the process of issuing mining exploration licenses.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the Deputy Governor of Khorasan Razavi for Economic Affairs Coordination said: The creation of a single mining window under Article 24 of the Mining Law was done for the first time in the country in this province with the cooperation of private sector organizations, including the Mining House.
Morteza Ashrafi added: Khorasan Razavi, due to its special location, which is the location of major geological phenomena, has a good position in terms of capacity and diversity of mineral reserves, including coal, copper, zinc, iron, manganese, chromite , Gold, copper, turquoise, magnesite and travertine.
He continued: "Some mineral reserves have not been explored so far, one of the reasons being the difficulty of the licensing process."
Deputy Governor of Khorasan Razavi said: the creation of a single window of the mine in order to expedite and facilitate the issuance of licenses, especially exploration licenses, and for this issue the capacity of the province's investment service centers was used and with the support of the General Department of Economic Affairs and Finance Necessary to form this window was provided.
He added: "In this window, the representatives of the inquired and relevant executive bodies in issuing mining exploration permits, including the General Departments of Roads and Urban Development, Natural Resources, Highways, Cultural Heritage, Environment and the Regional Water Company, are located in order to Issued the necessary permits when possible.
Ashrafi continued: "We are trying to issue licenses electronically, which with the realization of this important issue, there will be no need for the presence of applicants."

Director General of Economic Affairs and Finance of Khorasan Razavi said: "Before, the registration of a company for issuing a mining activity license and handing over the mine to the applicant took three to four months. Hossein Amirrahimi added: The current location of the window of the mining unit is the location of three other institutions, including the "Investment Services Center", the "Emergency Center for Problems of Production Units", and the "Physical Unit for Starting a Business Unit".
