Establishment of a joint industrial town awaiting an agreement between Iran and Azerbaijan
Deputy Minister of Industry and Managing Director of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran: We are waiting for the agreement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Azerbaijan to set up a joint industrial town in Parsabad to provide the necessary infrastructure.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Ali Rasoulian during his visit to Parsabad industrial towns said: The joint border town is under review and follow-up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Azerbaijan, which can be easily agreed upon by the joint commission of Iran and Azerbaijan. He worked hard to set up this town.
He added: "Very good work has started in the region in this field and we in the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns of Iran do not have a problem with the construction of a joint border industrial complex and we consider this in favor of Moghan economic development."
The CEO of Iran Industrial Towns said: "Although there is no example of such a joint border town in the country, but the plans proposed in this regard can be reviewed and finally approved. We are waiting for the opinion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Azerbaijan to start activities in this area."
Regarding the capacity created in the industrial towns of the province to establish production units, Rasoulian added: "Apart from welcoming towns and industrial areas, we are witnessing the development of some of these towns, such as Ardabil Industrial Town No. 2, which is increasing with the welcome of investors."
In another part of his speech, he noted: In the year of the leap of production in support of investors in the bureaucracy, administration and licensing system has been done in the shortest possible time and a good facilitation has been formed in this process.
Rasoulian added: So far, 9,000 land transfer contracts have been concluded for the establishment of industrial units in the country, which has doubled compared to last year.
He said: "There is a good capacity in the country and Ardabil province to support investors to settle in industrial towns, and even for deprived areas, incentive packages have been provided."
The Deputy Minister of Industry also pointed to the need to diagnose stagnant and closed industrial units and said: "We entered the year of production leap with a sense of responsibility in this field and using the power of consultants, elite private sector working groups and universities to seek the causes and factors of recession We are production units.
Rasoulian stated: In this regard, the capacity of 500 consultants in the country has been used to diagnose and solve the problems of industrial units, which this year, with this action, 1,437 industrial units have returned to the production cycle.
