Creating more than 25,000 job opportunities in the form of mining projects and mining industries
According to Imidro's Deputy Minister of Planning and Empowerment, 30 mining projects have been inaugurated and are ready to open this year, which have created direct employment of 5438 indirect jobs for more than 20,000 people.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Amir Khoramshahd considered the mining projects this year to be worth 3 billion and 638 million dollars and said: the amount of direct employment of these projects has been 5438 people. Also, the number of indirect jobs resulting from the launch of projects has reached 20,325 this year.
Imidro Deputy Planning and Empowerment, while pointing to some of this year's flagship projects, said: "Among the effective projects that have been launched since the beginning of the year, we can include new projects of Sangan Mining Complex, including pelletizing 2.5 million tons of comprehensive development of Sanabad-Khuzestan Steel He also mentioned the five million ton iron ore concentrate of Sangan Khorasan Steel (Mobarakeh Steel). In addition, in the copper sector, Khatunabad smelter development projects including 120,000 tons of anodes, 600,000 tons of sulfuric acid, 60,000 tons of concentrate storage and an oxygen plant with a capacity of (daily) 440 tons have been launched this year.
He added: The commissioning of the first section of the water transfer line from the Persian Gulf to the Central Plateau (Sirjan Golgohar) with a daily capacity of 200,000 cubic meters and a length of 303 km is one of the other projects inaugurated this year. Also, the inauguration of the first port wharf of Parsian Energy Industries Special Zone, which is considered as an Imidro infrastructure project for transporting and loading goods required by Lamerd Special Zone, especially Southern Aluminum, is also among the projects inaugurated in 1399.
Imidro's Deputy for Planning and Empowerment reminded: The first phase of the Salco (Southern Aluminum) project, which was produced last winter and is ready to open, was inaugurated in May this year; Therefore, it was included in the opening plans of 1399.
Possibility of exploiting 8 new projects
According to Imidro, Khorramshad stressed: "If the necessary conditions are provided, it is possible to exploit eight other new projects this month (March), which have a value plan equivalent to 570 million dollars."
Regarding the employment of these projects, Imidro's deputy said: "By launching this number of projects, 411 direct jobs and 2990 indirect job opportunities will be created in the mining and mining industries of the country."
