Head of Mines and Mining Industries Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade: All blocked mining areas in the provinces will be handed over by public auction.

He stated: The areas that do not have an owner and remain unused, will be offered to the public within the framework of this plan, and thus the mining sector will have an important step in the development path.
Saad Mohammadi pointed out: the plan does not fall into problematic areas in terms of natural resources and environmental protection, and the Ministry of Industry does not intervene in this regard.
He added: The pre-New Year transfer plan was supposed to be implemented nationwide, but the budget review in the parliament and the busy schedule of the deputies in this regard prevented the implementation of the plan this year.

He added: "Imported mining machines that were pre-registered and were not allowed to be cleared due to currency problems and remained in customs, after obtaining the license of the Minister of Industry and foreign exchange supply by the machine importer, if it does not have similar domestic production." , Will be able to clear.
Production plan for 31.5 million tons of steel
Saad Mohammadi reminded: This year, the production plan is 31.5 million tons of steel, while in the 10-month period, more than 25 million tons of crude steel were produced.
He added: "According to the 1404 vision document, the country's steelmaking capacity is projected at 55 million tons, while achieving this goal requires 160 million tons of iron ore."
The official noted that the extraction of this volume of mineral requires machinery and equipment, provided that it is not domestically produced, it must be supplied from the place of import.
According to him, the issue of providing machinery needed for mineral extraction will be discussed in the High Council of Mines to identify and implement a solution for it.
Mining license statistics
Saad Mohammadi mentioned that the number of mining licenses that are active exceeds 6,200 mines and said: 3,990 mines are considered inactive, not abandoned due to environmental barriers, natural resources or active sales market. are not.
He introduced 2,348 mines as uncontested, which are planned to be activated by Iran Minerals Production Company and Imidro Organization.
New design based on up-to-date knowledge
