The inactive mines auction will be held in the second half of April next year.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry announced the holding of inactive mines auctions in the second half of April next year. Ardeshir Saad Mohammadi, Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry, stated in a meeting with the media; All blocked areas have been identified in different provinces.
He continued: "In the first stage, we will work with areas and mines belonging to people who do not have problems with natural resources, environment, etc. Currently, only areas and areas that are left in the block system and do not have an owner, will be handed over through public auction."
The Deputy Minister of Industry stated: The process of holding auctions for inactive mines will begin in the second half of April. The mines of 1st and 2nd floors will be released for transfer according to the decision of the High Council of Mines.
He continued: "The clearance license of the mining machines that have been suspended in the customs, which have an old order registration, have provided their own value and do not have domestic production, will be issued soon."
Saad Mohammadi continued: "We plan to produce 55 million tons of steel in the next four-year plan, and extraction, exploration and production should be increased, which requires equipment. This is possible by planning to provide equipment and tools."
He added: "Currently, we have 6,259 active licenses and our undisputed mines are 2348, and we are looking for their reasons to be investigated in order to provide the conditions for their activation." 309 new licenses have been issued. We need to change the height and width of the mines, and all of this requires training, which ultimately leads to added value.
In the end, the Deputy Minister of Mining stated: "Increasing production in metals must be planned and we are looking to achieve it in copper and it will be included in other metals as well."
