In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly regarding the approval of the Industries and Mines Commission regarding the plan to amend the articles of the Mining Law, the Chairman of the Mining House of Iran emphasized:The approval of this plan is in clear contradiction with the security of investment in the mining and mineral industries.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Mohammad Reza Bahraman" noted in his letter: Notes 4 and 5 of the mentioned plan, if approved, will result in a deep recession and stop development, including additional exploration and finally the outflow of capital from the mining sector.

He noted in the letter: "The approval of this plan (especially with the relevant notes) will waste the earned salaries and efforts of miners who have always been in the forefront of production, development and employment in difficult economic conditions. Eventually, it will create many legal and judicial problems in this regard.

In this letter, the head of the Iran Mining House requested the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly to pay special attention to the plan (relevant notes) and take the necessary measures to make the necessary amendments in compliance with the legal rights of license holders Mining and mineral industries.

He added: "In the current sensitive situation where the production sector and the country's economy are affected by the recession and many problems, we are expected to see the growth and promotion of the mining sector and the mining industry and the realization of the production leap."

In his letter, the head of the Mining House attached pictures of the Iranian Stone Association, the Non-Ferrous Metals and Processing Committee of the Mining House, the protest of 31 representatives of the Iranian Mining House across the country and a number of other activists in the mining and mining industries.

According to the report, according to Note 4, "The mining license of all operators is valid only for the amount of reserves mentioned in the exploration license and they are allowed to withdraw the same amount from the reserves of the relevant mines." "If the reserves of any mineral increase, the increased reserves belong to the government, which according to this law will be given to eligible applicants through auctions."

Hojjatullah Firoozi, the spokesman of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced on December 29 that the general plan for amending the articles of the Mines Law had been approved by the commission.

He said: "The review of the plan to amend the articles of the country's mining law was on the agenda of this commission, which has been designed and presented by the commission's mines committee in order to make more use of the capacities of the mining sector, determine the duties of registered and licensed mines.
