The development of economic relations between Iran and Iraq has accelerated
Secretary of the Iran-Iraq Joint Economic Commission: The development of Iran-Iraq economic relations has been accelerated by the appointment of a joint commission of the two countries.

The private sector activist noted that Iranian goods and services in Iraq are very successful, noting that the export of agricultural goods, dairy products, dam construction, water and electricity, tourism are among the sectors that have been negotiated with the country. Iraq was agreed upon by the parties.
He added: "We hope that the process of export development with neighboring countries, especially Iraq, will be stable and will continue and increase due to Iran's very desirable capacities."
