The CEO of the Bank of Industry and Mines announced that the bank has so far paid 23,000 billion tomans in facilities to the industry and mines sector, most of which have been working capital.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hossein Mehri said: "Since the beginning of the year, the Bank of Industry and Mines has paid a total of 23,000 billion tomans in facilities to the industry and mining sector, which has grown significantly compared to before." Also, most of the facilities provided by this bank have been in the form of working capital.
He added: "This bank is specialized and the Central Bank allows the Bank of Industry and Mines to pay a limited marriage loan, which is about 14,000 to 16,000 marriage facilities per year."
"Many banks are acting in accordance with the announcement of the Central Bank in this regard, and the purpose of this plan is to prevent the increase of the monetary base," Mehri said, noting that the central bank has imposed a number of restrictions to control the growth of banks' balance sheets. So far, these restrictions have not created an obstacle for the Bank of Industry and Mines, and I believe that this does not create any restrictions. In general, the balance sheet of this bank has not been suitable and has not grown unreasonably.
