The bridge connecting the mining department with Damghan University was formed
The officials of Chaharmas Cooperative Company and Damghan University signed a memorandum of cooperation in order to establish more industrial and mining cooperation in order to form a bridge between the mining sector and this university.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the President of Damghan University on the sidelines of the signing of this memorandum added: The subject of this memorandum is to achieve the general goals of two groups, each of which pursues its own goals.
Abdul Ali Basiri continued: "In line with this contract, consulting, laboratory, research and exploration services required by the company will be performed and a bridge between industry, mining and university will be formed for mutual cooperation."
Basiri pointed to the objectives of this memorandum and added: exploration work, providing laboratory services, preparing reports and maps required by the company will be done based on concluding contracts between the university and the company.
He added: "In one of the clauses of this memorandum, to create a suitable space for dialogue between faculty members and company members with the aim of transferring knowledge, transferring the company's problems and needs to the university with the aim of reviewing, researching and providing appropriate solutions." The needs of the company are emphasized.
Basiri continued: "Providing suitable conditions in the mining sites and processing of the company is done with the aim of training the interested students of the university in this regard."
He added: "Training the required personnel of the company from the students admitted to the university, especially geology graduates, directing student projects and dissertations towards geology, exploration and other programs of Chaharmas Company, are other goals of signing this memorandum." .
Basiri pointed to the commitments of the parties and said: the university is committed to use its maximum scientific and laboratory capacity in research and consulting matters assigned by the company with priority over other foreign affairs.
He said: "According to this memorandum, Chaharmas Company will follow up and carry out all matters related to exploration, geology and other research needs at the university, with the priority of concluding relevant contracts."
The President of Damghan University noted: "Undoubtedly, the signing of this memorandum of cooperation is a positive step to increase the academic level of students, increase the capacity of faculty members and effective communication between industry, mining and the university."
According to IRNA, this memorandum was signed on the occasion of the 5th of Esfand, Engineer Day. Damghan Four Copper Cooperative is active in the field of extraction of minerals and copper ore. Currently, the company operates five mines (three copper mines and two construction stone mines) in Damghan city.
At Damghan University, more than 4,500 students study in 73 disciplines and majors in eight faculties, and 162 faculty members work in this complex.
