Chairman of Tehran Chamber of Commerce: In all indicators, including imports, exports, exports without crude oil, etc., we have faced a decrease, and last year and this year the country's trade balance was negative, ie the country's exports were lower than imports.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Massoud Khansari in the appreciation ceremony of the best exporters of Tehran province in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce stated: From the second half of 1397 to this year, not only exports did not play a role in the country's growth but its growth was negative. In all indicators, including imports, exports, exports without crude oil, etc., we have faced a decrease, and in both the last two years and this year, the country's trade balance has been negative, meaning that the country's exports have been lower than imports.

He continued: "Numerous, contradictory and unprofessional directives have caused a lot of fluctuations in the country's import and export process."

The head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture further stated: The main export destinations of the country are China, Iraq, UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan and five other countries. In order to increase exports, we have to look at other markets as well, although we always have to look at our neighbors, but our capacity is more than just exporting to these 10 countries.

He added: "Although the price of currency doubled, but our exports decreased, meaning that we could not take advantage of this situation, due to the narrow views of the country's economy."

Khansari also said: we must decide one day that we can not be in conflict with the world, but we must solve this problem. In economics, it is not possible to act as an island.

He added: "Different agencies are involved in issues related to the country's trade." The Trade Development Organization and the Ministry of Silence should be the only ones in charge of this, but unfortunately in practice this is not the case, which has caused a lot of trouble. One of our main problems in exporting is regulatory fluctuations. Since 1397, when the Central Bank took the helm of currency and trade, exports have been in turmoil.

The official added: "If there had been an incentive instead of a coercive one, exports could have been doubled by devaluing the national currency." We can increase exports to as much as $ 100 billion a year.
