Head of Trade Development Organization: Our exports in the first 10 months of this year have decreased by 20% compared to last year, part of which is related to the conditions resulting from the outbreak of the corona.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamidreza Zadboom said at the appreciation ceremony of the exemplary exporters of Tehran province: The philosophy of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran is to reduce our interaction with abroad, but exporters are at the tip of this arrow. Today, even our imports are helpful because 90% of our imports are raw materials and commodities.

He added: "Despite all the problems that have increased since 1397, last year we had $ 41 billion in non-oil exports, 50% of which was through the private sector." From the beginning of 1397 to December of this year, we had 63 billion euros in exports, of which 40 billion euros have returned to the country. 50% of this amount was related to Tehran province.

The head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran further stated: The largest increase in our exports has been related to nuts, detergents, equipment, etc. Our exports in the first 10 months of this year have decreased by 20% compared to last year, part of which is due to the conditions resulting from the outbreak of the corona.

He pointed out: Tehran Chamber can have a higher position in the international arena, this year the selection of a sample exporter at the national level has been left to the Iran Chamber.

"We will pay four percent of the exporters' interest rates through export and agricultural development banks," Zadboom said.

The head of the Trade Development Organization continued: "Any redundant regulations derail the country's trade. Any export subsidies or redundant laws derail trade, but the current situation has created these regulations."

He added: "Since October, with the formation of the Foreign Exchange Action Committee in the Ministry of Silence, we have begun to address the problems of exporters' foreign exchange obligations." The Interim Agreement with Eurasia has also expired and negotiations are under way to conclude a free trade agreement with Eurasia.
