5,000 to 6,000 mines will be handed over to investors
Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade: With the liberalization of mines by the end of this year, between 5,000 and 6,000 mines will be handed over to investors.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Alireza Razm Hosseini in the groundbreaking ceremony of Sabzdasht Comprehensive Rural Health Center in Bafgh, Yazd, added: "Activation of mines, in addition to creating employment, will lead to economic prosperity in the regions."
He pointed out that thanks to the Islamic Revolution, there is water, electricity, gas, telephone and other communication infrastructure in many villages, but people are migrating to the cities due to lack of jobs, adding: "With the revival of an abandoned mine, the first thing is to create Jobs are for the villagers and we believe that we should seek to create business in remote villages and cities so that migration can be reversed.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade stated: Bafgh and Bahabad are mining regions and employment can be created in villages through exploration, extraction and production.
Razm Hosseini, stating that 40% of the country's economy is managed by the Ministry of Industry, added: "In the field of industry, mines, trade and market, we have plans for economic growth."
The people's representative of Abarkooh, Bafgh, Bahabad, Khatam and Mehriz in the parliament also thanked the investor of Tajkooh mine and said: "Performing social responsibilities along with creating jobs and economic work is very valuable."
Mohammad Reza Sabbaghian added: "We hope to see economic prosperity in the villages by motivating investors."
Today, Sabzdasht Comprehensive Health Center was overhauled on a 900-meter-wide land with a value of 4 billion Tomans, including a medical center and three doctor's houses in the presence of Minister Samat.
Also, with the presence of the Minister of Industry, the lead and zinc concentrate production unit of Tajkooh Bafgh mine was put into operation; This unit has an annual production capacity of 14,000 tons of lead and zinc concentrate and has created employment for 250 people.
The amount of foreign exchange and rial investment of this mineral unit is a total of 1,250 billion rials.
Razm Hosseini continued his visit by visiting the central iron ore of Iran-Bafgh and the adjacent mining industries.
