MP: Ardakan people do not have a share of mines
The representative of Ardakan people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stating that some industries do not fulfill their social obligations, said: the people of this city do not have a share of mines.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Reza Dashti Ardakani in the inauguration ceremony of Chadormelvi solar power plant in the city, which was held in the presence of the Minister of Industry, while commemorating the martyrs of Valamqam, said: The constituency was one of our first demands on him that was fulfilled.
Explaining one of the examples of non-compliance of industries with their social obligations to the city, he reminded: There are 148 schools in Ardakan, of which 70 schools need to be renovated and rebuilt, and in the current academic year, part of the students' classes in seven schools It is being held either in the prayer hall or in the convent.
Dashti Ardakani stated: It is not really beautiful for our students to study in Ardakani in the dormitory.
He added: "It is necessary for the people of Ardakan city to have a share in Chadormelo and Dey 19 mine, which is located in Ardakan protected area, and in this regard, we should witness the assistance of the management of Chadormelo complex and with the coordination of the officials."
There are 250 industrial units and 185 mining units in Ardakan.
The center of Ardakan, a city of 105,000 people, is located 60 km northwest of Yazd, and this city is one of the richest areas of Yazd province in terms of minerals. Currently, in addition to 10 large national mines, Yazd has about 500 large and small mines. The units employ more than 12,000 people.
