Head of Iran's Trade Development Organization: In order to have free trade, we have to give concessions in exchange for concessions, and this means that it is not possible to enter into free trade with countries without pain and bloodshed.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamid Zadboom stated today at the 7th Annual Conference on Resistance Economics, which is being held online, emphasizing that we should have at least 20% of the trade share of the countries in the region: ‌ This amount of trade share Neighboring countries can bring us $ 200 billion in foreign exchange.

He continued: "This means that there is a lot of potential in neighboring countries that can become a boom in production and fulfill the slogan of a leap in production."

Born in Pakistan, it is considered one of the most potential countries in the region, which can significantly increase the volume of exports to that country.

He reminded: "We have 15 countries in the region, which in terms of trade exchange capacity can put Pakistan in first place, followed by the UAE, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc."

The main products of the imports of these countries are automobiles and their parts, electricity and electronics, mobile phones and their parts, materials of mining industries, petrochemicals, materials of conversion industries and agricultural products.

He estimated the amount of exports that could be made to these countries at $ 124 billion.

"Last year, we only managed to export $ 41.3 billion to neighboring countries, which seems to reach $ 35 billion this year due to increasing ceiling problems," Zadboom added.

The head of Iran's Trade Development Organization stressed that in order to achieve a resilient economy, we must increase our interaction with neighboring and distant countries, adding: "In addition to our neighbors in the north, south, east and west, we must seek to increase interaction with our neighbors such as China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and some African countries and even Latin America.

Zadboom continued: "Currently, our trade balance with European countries is negative, and in relation to these countries, our important action should at least be to positiveize this trade balance."

He said about the tools that lay the groundwork for the development of international interactions and the importance of paying attention to them: "There is an order and law in international interactions that is based on agreements, one of which is agreements signed by the parties in the form of free trade."

Zadboom continued: "In order to be able to successfully participate in the WOT and the Eurasian Agreement, we must try to know the rules and regulations governing international interactions and agreements."

He added: "When we do not know the rules and regulations, we can not determine the situation in our favor in international interactions.

Referring to Iran's efforts to sign the Eurasian Agreement, Zadboom said: ‌ In order to have a good position in signing the Eurasian agreements, we must be aware of all its laws and regulations and we need to be fully aware of this.

Emphasizing that elite academics and students should be present in this field, he added: "With the help of academics and the training of academic elites, we can consciously participate in international interactions in order to achieve a resistance economy."

Referring to the words of Saeed Jalili, Zadboom said: "As he mentioned, the issue of transportation is one of the important strategic capacities of our country in realizing a resistance economy, which if removed in the next five years, it will be removed from the field and this advantage We will lose the big one.

The head of Iran's Trade Development Organization announced the ban on issuing new directives this year and said: "One of the problems of businessmen that has always been protested against them is the issuance of several directives in recent years, which we have banned this year."

Zadboom continued: "No new directives have been issued this year and the previous years' directives have been extended or amended only if necessary."

He reminded: "The unfortunate reason for the issuance of directives in 1396 and 1397 was the new conditions that the tightening of sanctions by Trump created for us and caused us many problems in the field of currency."

Emphasizing that joining free trade and participating in international interactions is not possible without pain and bloodshed, Zadboom said: In order to be able to participate in a successful free trade and develop our international interactions, we must receive concessions in exchange for receiving concessions. Let us also say that this means that the development of trade in the form of free trade will not be without pain and bloodshed.

"Currently, we are trading with countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan mostly in the form of exporting products, but this trend will not continue because they will soon object to this form of trade," he said.

Zadboom stressed: "All countries are looking to meet the needs of their country in addition to meeting the needs, so we will soon see that these countries will want to increase the export of their products in exchange for the import of our products."

At the end of his speech, the head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran said: "The condition for the stability of trade with trade partner countries is bilateral interaction. Continuation of unilateral trade will not result in anything except the gradual removal of our country from trade."
