The country's success in localizing mineral ore crushing technology
An Iranian knowledge-based company with localization of new technology of high pressure roller crusher, has succeeded in changing the process of crushing rocks with less energy consumption, minimal environmental degradation and cost reduction; A device whose design and construction brings at least 50% foreign exchange savings to the country.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, this knowledge-based company is one of the technology collections that operate in the field of machinery, advanced equipment, software and specialized systems related to modern mineral crushers.
Using high pressure roller crusher or HPGR, as an emerging technology, they have changed the process of crushing stone in the mining industry in the country.
Only 4 countries in the world have HPGR manufacturing technology
The chairman of the board of directors of this knowledge-based company says: This technology company with its technical and experienced team has been able to build and launch one of the most modern types of HPGR devices.
In an interview with IRNA on Tuesday, Malik Safarkhanlu said: "HPGR high pressure roller press was designed in the world in 1990 and was launched in 1998, and now there are four countries in the world, including Germany and France." The United States and Canada have the technology to make this device.
Regarding this technology, he stated: Iran is one of the few countries that has achieved the sophisticated technology of making HPGR device.
This activist of our country's knowledge-based field says: All steel companies that have pelletizing, as well as concentrate factories and mining companies to increase Blaine, can be HPGR customers.
What are the benefits of Iranian crusher?
"With the help of this technology, less energy is consumed in the first place," said the knowledge-based activist. In addition, the use of this device reduces operating costs and environmental impact.
Safarkhanlu added: Also, crushing stone by HPGR method (high pressure roller crusher) reduces energy consumption in the downstream stages. Another advantage of this type of crushing is the increase in the degree of release.
According to the designer of this knowledge-based device, crushing has been considered by roller presses in recent years due to their positive effect on the wear process.
He stressed: "Reducing costs along with saving energy consumption, increasing production, occupying less space and longer life of moving parts are among the reasons for considering this type of mills."
Safarkhanlu, stating that the construction of this device is associated with great complexity, said: "Our device has more advantages than foreign equipment; These include a 40% reduction in energy consumption, cost savings and maintenance time (within 48 hours at one-fifth the same foreign price).
Referring to the foreign machines available in some factories and mining centers of the country, he said: "The foreign machines that are currently available in Gol Gohar, Chador Melo, Central Iron Ore, Goharzamin, Zarand and Sangan steel factories to deliver the cross-section or blast of concentrate." 1800 cm 2 / g with 90% humidity are incapable and inevitably must be installed dryer to increase the blade, but our device does not need it.

Safarkhanlu, stating that the market of this company is the knowledge base of industry and mining companies, steel, pelletizing plants and concentrate, added: in fact, HPGR design is due to less energy consumption.
He continued: for concentrating each ton of iron ore, normally 15 kWh of energy is consumed, but with this home-made technology, energy consumption is reduced by about 12 kWh.
The knowledge-based activist added: "Of course we have been able to reduce this amount of energy consumption again; Because today's world is moving towards reducing energy consumption as much as possible.
Is this device made with a reverse design?
Safarkhanlou, in response to the question whether the HPGR device was made with a reverse design or not, says: "We did not have a prototype of the device available and we designed this device from catalogs and photos and with research done."
He added: "Of course, a series of instrumentation equipment used in this device is imported from abroad because it cannot be manufactured in Iran."
Ability to design and build expensive steel lines
This knowledge-based activist also stated that the activity of this company is specialized and capable in the field of design and construction of machines and production lines, and said: the ability to design and manufacture all devices and production lines of the country's steel industry, which is expensive and sanctioned. , We have the same external quality.
Safarkhanlu emphasized: "Unless we can localize the production lines of the country's industries, the country's industries will definitely be vulnerable in the face of sanctions."
He stated: "In fact, the development of the country's industries is possible only with localization and acquiring modern technical knowledge."
When domestic industries refuse to buy this device
Ali Nakool Ali Azad, CEO of this knowledge-based company, also stated that the HPGR device is used to increase the cross-section of blains or crushing with high capacity and prevents a large amount of foreign currency from leaving the country. Most are interested in importing this device from abroad.
In an interview with IRNA, he said that the knowledge-based company has so far offered two of these devices to the domestic market, adding: "Of course, the country needs much more than this."
Referring to the design and construction of this device and announcing its manufacturing capacity to industries that need this technology, Nekool Ali said: "Unfortunately, in recent years, at least about 200 million euros have been imported from this device."
He said: "Of course, many companies, despite the need for this device and can annually increase their steel production by 800 to one million tons and prevent the outflow of large amounts of currency, but still refuse to buy domestically for non-technical reasons."
According to this knowledge-based activist, this device is currently being used in the Central Iron Ore Company.
The price of imported HPGR is twice as high as the Iranian device
Nekool Ali Azad also pointed out that the import of HPGR device costs 8 to 12 million Euros, adding that this is while the purchase of this device from inside is about 3.5 to 4 million Euros. In addition, its maintenance cost is one-fifth of the external device.
Referring to other products of this technology group, he said: Jaw crusher is one of the main types of crushers in mineral crushing factories.
Nekool Ali Azad continued: "These types of crushers are used to crush rocks to smaller sizes for the next stages of crushing."
According to him, these devices are used as primary crushers in crushing lines that convert large minerals (above 20 cm) into smaller sizes.
This knowledge-based activist continued: Jaw crushers are the least frictional, the least expensive, and the most convenient stone crushing machines in terms of operation.
He further mentioned the construction of various types of jaw crushers, cones, conveyors, sieves and feeders as other products of this company and added: the sieving machine is used for separating and granulating all kinds of mineral minerals.
The CEO of this knowledge-based company reminded: This device is widely used in most factories and mines.
He also pointed to the feeder machine: This machine is also designed to perform feeding operations of mineral and industrial processing lines systematically and has the ability to adjust the outlet valve to control the quality of the load capacity in different models and tonnages in the processing lines. Minerals are installed and commissioned.
Nekool Ali Azad also clarified about the future projects of this knowledge-based company: "We are designing and manufacturing sponge iron production from low-grade hematite iron ore by SLRN method, which will be unveiled in the near future."
According to the CEO of this knowledge-based company, about 45 people are currently working directly in this knowledge-based complex located in the suburbs of the capital.
