The representative of Mehriz constituency in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stating that only three Bafgh mines pay tolls of 2% of the sale of mineral products to this city, said: 90% of this income is allocated to construction costs.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Reza Sabbaghian added: "According to the ruling of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, all active mines in Bafgh must pay 2% of their debt to this city by paying tolls."

He said: Bafgh is one of the richest areas in terms of mining benefits, and among these iron ore has the most and richest mines in the city, hence Bafgh is called the mineral city of Iran and the paradise of mines.

The representative of Bafgh, Bahabad, Abarkooh, Khatam and Mehriz counties (with a population of about 250,000) in the 11th parliament stated: Bafgh has various and valuable mines such as Choghart iron ore, northern anomaly, Sehchahun iron ore, Mishdovan, Shitor, Tashkooh, Zaghia, as well as Asfordi phosphate, pavilion lead, ornamental stones and sand mine.

The member of the Internal Affairs Commission and the councils of the parliament pointed out that among these, the Central Iron Ore Company, Central Plateau (Mishdvan, Chahgaz and North Anomaly) and recently the Kushkak lead and zinc mine paid the tolls from the sale of minerals and the rest of the mines. They are obliged to pay these fees.

He emphasized: the mines that evade the payment of their "religion" to the development of the city, the relevant agencies should file a complaint in this regard and the Court of Accounts is ready to investigate the complaints so that the citizens' rights are paid in full.

 Without mentioning the amount of annual tolls of Bafgh mines, he clarified: 70% of the mentioned tolls belong to the development of the city and the rest belongs to rural development and its payment is considered as performing the social duties of managers and board members of mining and industrial companies in this city. 

Sabbaghian, stating that only the Central Iron Ore Company of Iran - Bafgh pays 2% legal fees on time, asked the managers of mining companies in the city, in addition to paying 2% fees for the sale of mineral products, quotas to help villages, health and treatment of deprived areas and road construction Also consider.

 The head of the "Financial Transparency" faction of the 11th Majlis stated: "Undoubtedly, the payment of tolls due to mining activities, which is the legal right of the people of the region, can play a significant role in eliminating deprivation, development and development of Bafgh city, especially deprived rural areas."

The MP called the payment of tolls as one of the sustainable incomes of municipalities and villages in the region and effective in the development of urban and rural infrastructure, adding: "The development of infrastructure in urban and rural areas is possible by paying tolls on time."

He considered the construction costs for the completion of semi-finished projects as one of the priorities of the executive bodies of Yazd province and the city and continued: timely payment of tolls for the sale of mineral products and the right to traffic pollution to provide costs related to the completion of semi-finished construction and service projects And causes more and more services to the people of the region by the municipality and villagers.

He stated: providing welfare facilities in the development of the city, improving the traffic situation, providing green space, constructing and equipping neighborhood parks, improving the condition of inner city roads and providing cultural and sports services, including the duties of the municipality in the city and a part of the municipality It is a village that can be implemented only through the interaction of citizens and the payment of mining fees, renovation and the cost of urban and rural services.

The member of the Yazd Provincial Assembly also added: "Since the focus on the resistance economy and the leap in production is to pay attention to domestic capacities, this capacity should be used optimally in the mining sector and used in the economic growth of society, because today the role of mining and industry Mineral neighborhood is inevitable in the economic development of countries.

He considered the mine as a supplier of feedstock for industrial units and added: "In the current situation, mines have become doubly important in the country's economy and minerals as a raw material and final products of industrial units play an important role in non-oil exports."

Bafgh is located in the hot and dry region of central Iran. In addition to agricultural activities, there is a boom in mining activities in this city. The region is rich in mineral indices, the most important of which can be iron ore, phosphate, lead and zinc, ornamental stones. And the uranium mine mentioned that currently 70% of the population of the city is provided by working in the mines of the region.

Yazd province is the largest producer of iron ore in the country and annually more than 30 million tons of iron ore is produced in the province's mines and exported to different provinces and countries.

More than 10,000 people are employed in the mines of Bafgh city and the center of this city of 50,000 people is located 110 km southeast of Yazd city.

Yazd province with a population of 1.2 million people and 10 cities has four representatives in the Islamic Consultative Assembly. Sabbaghian went to Baharestan for the second time on behalf of the people of Mehriz constituency in the second elections of March last year.
