The Iran Chamber law is being amended to strengthen the private sector
The draft amendment to the Chamber of Commerce law will be amended and completed by the Joint Committee between the Iran Chamber, the Parliamentary Research Center, the Trade Committee of the Economic Commission and representatives of the Ministry of Industry.

A proposal to amend the Chamber of Commerce law has been proposed by a number of delegates, but representatives of the private sector in the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have long submitted a request to amend the current chamber law, which was approved in 1990. At today's meeting of the Economic Commission, at the suggestion of the Chairman of the Iranian Chamber, a plan to amend this law was put on the agenda.
All speakers at the meeting stressed the need to strengthen the Iran Chamber as the oldest and largest representative of the private sector and maintain the chamber's independent identity.
Based on the decision of the Economic Commission of the Parliament, the task of reviewing the details of amending the law of the Chamber of Commerce and completing it was entrusted to a joint working group whose members are representatives from the Parliamentary Research Center, Iran Chamber Research Center, the Economic Commission and the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade. make.
Dr. Mohammad Reza Poorabrahimi, Chairman of the Economic Commission of the Majles, also announced: The purpose of approving the general amendments to the Chamber of Commerce law is to upgrade the capabilities of the private sector and eliminate existing weaknesses, so all materials of the current plan and future proposals will be measured by this criterion. According to him, it was decided that the details of the plan would be considered by the Economic Commission at the beginning of next year, after being reviewed by the Commercial Committee of the Economic Commission.
The current law of the Chamber of Commerce was approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly in 1990 and was implemented in 1991 with the approval of the Guardian Council.
