The development of a three-year roadmap for the development of Iranian exports to Jordan was discussed during a meeting between the Director General of the Arab and African Office of the Trade Development Organization of Iran and the new Iranian Chargé d'Affaires in Jordan.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Farzad Pilten, referring to the meeting with the new Iranian Chargé d'Affaires in Jordan, said: "In this meeting, while reviewing the trade relations between Iran and Jordan, problems and solutions for export development to this country were discussed."
He added: "In this meeting, the necessity of following up and solving the problems and obstacles facing the development of trade between the two countries, especially the issuance of trade visas, transportation of goods, tariff barriers, lack of market knowledge and lack of communication between the private sectors of the two countries was emphasized."

Iran-Jordan trade annually averages about $ 50 million, and pistachios, raisins, iron and steel products, flooring, urea, water coolers and kitchen utensils are among Iran's most important exports to Jordan in recent years.
