Minister of Roads and Urban Development: The problem of Iranian transit trucks entering Georgia was resolved through consultations and coordination.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Eslami told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting with the board of the Iran Chamber and members of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber: "The movement of Iranian trucks to different countries was stopped after the outbreak of the Corona virus, but after consultations." In all transit routes and countries, one-on-one entry permits were issued, and in the last case, the entry of transit trucks into Georgia became a normal process with the recent consultations of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He added: "In today's meeting in the Chamber of Commerce, the issue of expanding the transportation capacity of perishable goods was also raised, and the transit department of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development announced its readiness to reach the destination country with the best quality."
"Transportation in the field of economy is a very important and fundamental principle that we should listen to the conversations of the private sector and economic activists in this field, because this sector has the most use of commercial transport," said Islami.
He added: "The important point for us is that we activated transportation diplomacy with the help of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and by conducting consultations between countries, we increased coordination capacities, and by doing so, we were able to pass traffic." The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added: "On Thursday, the oncoming ships made their fifth voyage to Russia, which is also expanding, and by doing so, the perishable cargoes will reach their destination with better quality and faster."

He also added: Ghadir highway from Abik Qazvin to Charmshahr Varamin, which has a very important role in the field of domestic transit of goods until Eid Ghadir will be operational and will play an important role in reducing traffic load on Tehran-Karaj, Karaj-Qazvin and Azadegan highways.
