More than $ 300 million share of mining exports to Turkey
The value of exports of the three major exports of goods in the mining and mineral industries to Turkey in the first 11 months of this year reached $ 335 million, most of which was related to copper and related products.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, according to customs statistics, in that period, the five most important commodity exports of Iran to Turkey included plastics and its components, copper and related products, zinc metal and related products, fertilizers and aluminum and its products.
Exports of $ 132 million worth of copper and artifacts
According to the Tehran Chamber of Commerce's Deputy for Economic Studies, $ 132 million worth of copper and its products were exported to Turkey in the first 11 months of 2020, which shows a 15% decrease compared to the 11 months of 2019.
A study of foreign trade statistics for the first nine months of this year shows the export of 80,000 tons of copper cathodes and cathode parts worth $ 512 million, and the average price per ton of exported copper cathodes was $ 6,394.
Copper cathodes are used as raw materials for the production of high purity copper products and are used for copper alloys. Copper cathodes are used for the production of alloys such as brass, bronze and alloy steel, and in addition to the wire, cable and transformer industries. It is widely used in transportation, electrical appliances and machinery, defense equipment and construction.
$ 128 million export of zinc metal
These statistics show that during the study period, the value of exports of zinc metal and its products to Turkey reached 128 million dollars and shows an 11 percent decrease compared to the 11 months of 2019.
According to the statistics for the first 9 months of this year, the average export price of Herton metal is recorded at 2,226 dollars, and considering the export of 85,000 tons of this metal, the country's income from this place is estimated at 189 million dollars.
According to the study, zinc metal exports in the first 9 months of this year are among the 30 most important export goods in the mining and mineral industries after steel and copper.
$ 75 million worth of aluminum exports
Aluminum and its products, valued at $ 75 million, are the third leading indicator of the mining industry exports to Turkey in the 11-month period of 2020, a decrease of 5% compared to the 11-month period of 2019.
A study of the country's foreign trade statistics in the first seven months of this year in the mining and mineral industries shows that the value of exports of the aluminum chain and its products increased by 56% compared to the same period last year, reaching $ 101.1 million.
According to the report, Iran's customs last year reported that Turkey was Iran's largest trading partner in the European region with 5 billion 46 million 49 thousand dollars of imports from Iran and 4 billion 995 million 631 thousand 963 dollars of exports to the Islamic Republic.
