Deputy Minister of Industry of the Ministry of Industry: The import of road construction and mining machinery in the category of HEPCO products has been banned since the second half of 2017, and only machinery that is not domestically produced can register an order.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki stated this, adding: According to Articles 109 and 110 of the Law on Mines and Correspondence with the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry, calls for a ban on the import of products two steps above the product category We have become HEPCO, so in the import debate, sufficient support is provided to the production units producing industrial and mining machinery.
He considered the most important issue of HEPCO to be the issue of ownership and added: "Fortunately, according to the decision of the Cabinet, the Social Security Organization owns the majority of shares and the determination of debts and demand for HEPCO products remains, which is a very important issue."
The Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Industry added: "Of course, there are demands in the mining sector and reconstruction of road construction machinery and the needs of the road organization, but it must manage and own the complex, provide and equip financially and assign debts in order to receive orders." And deliver products with timely production.
Sadeghi Niaraki stated: The general policy of the country is to manage resources, especially foreign exchange resources, to make domestically and increase value added. The more value-added goods are, they are produced domestically and will certainly not issue import licenses for low-value, unnecessary and consumer products.
