Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Hamadan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the issuance of 14 mining exploitation licenses in the province and said: the activity of these units has an effective role in creating employment, increasing the extraction and processing of minerals.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Mohammad Khaki" stated: A total of 24 billion and 400 million tomans have been invested to activate and exploit these mines with the cooperation of the private sector.

Referring to the employment of 2,400 people in the mining sector of Hamadan province, he noted: This year, 102 people have been employed in the new mining units of this province.

The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Hamadan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization also announced the issuance of 26 exploration licenses in the first 10 months of this year and said: During this period, 18 discovery certificates have been issued to mining activists in Hamadan Province.

He announced the mineral reserves resulting from the explorations made this year as 12 million and 500 thousand tons and added: 10 billion and 300 million Rials have been invested in this regard.

Khaki stated: This year, 16 billion tomans of government salaries have been taken from the mines of the province and transferred to the treasury account.

According to the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Hamadan Province Industry Organization, with the permits issued this year, 760,000 tons will be added to the nominal capacity of the mines in this region.

Khaki reminded: out of 280 mines in Hamedan province, 120 are inactive in the field of construction materials, decorative stone, metal and non-metal stones, and their return to the production cycle is on the agenda.

He said: "Since last year, 20 stagnant mines have been activated and are being produced with the support of the government, and the removal of obstacles and problems of other closed mines continues."

Hamedan province has about 2 billion tons of 60 billion tons of explored reserves in the country.
