Governor of Lorestan: This province, with its transit route, abundant water and rich mines, has a suitable ground for high value-added investment.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Seyed Musa Khademi stated in a meeting of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council with the presence of the Chairman of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, members of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial Assembly in the Islamic Consultative Assembly: Geographically, being located south-north and west-east is very prone to the presence of investors.
He said that the necessary infrastructure for investment in the province has been formed to a large extent and is being prepared, adding: the main part of communication roads and the main transportation axes of Lorestan are now four lanes.
Khademi stated that Lorestan has no problem in terms of electricity generation due to its proximity to oil pipelines in the region to supply fossil fuels: in the oil, refinery and petrochemical fields of Lorestan is a significant province.
The governor of Lorestan also added: the province has important capacities for investment in the field of agricultural processing processing industries.
Khademi stated that there are special agricultural products in the province that can be exported abroad with investment. He said: Medicinal plants are one of the talents of Lorestan and by investing in this field, it can be one of the important poles of the country.
According to him, there are active pharmaceutical companies in Lorestan whose products are distributed in other parts of the country.
The governor of Lorestan, stating that in the field of aquaculture and cold-water fish farming, the first rank in the country belongs to Lorestan, said: Lorestan can become a cold-water fish farming center due to its capacities.
Noting that the province's stone industry is well known in the country and is ready to welcome investors in the field of new stone business, such as the production of paper from stone, he said: "In recent years, significant projects have begun with the presence of the private sector." Is.
The governor of Lorestan, emphasizing that the reasons for the absence of investors in the province as a project should be followed up by the Chamber of Commerce, added: Lorestan needs an institution with the nature of investment and the presence of investors in various fields.
