The Governor of the Central Bank, noting that the Omani government has maintained its trade and banking relations with Iran despite the maximum pressure from the United States, said: "Currently, the maximum pressure from the United States has failed and it is necessary to trade relations due to its long history. Historically, the relations between the two countries will expand even more.
Hemmati reminded: "We also believe that the capacity and cooperation of the private sector of the two countries can be used to improve the level and volume of trade between the two countries." To fulfill this important goal, he presented his proposals to the Omani side.
Also at the meeting, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Youssef, Minister of Industry and Trade of Oman, while welcoming the proposals presented by the Governor of the Central Bank and the accompanying delegation, emphasized that the country is working to establish and expand trade relations with Iran.
