103% achievement of the projected goals of the Small Scale Mines Rehabilitation Plan
According to the Iranian Minerals Production Company, in line with the plan to rehabilitate, activate and develop small-scale mines this year, 103% of the goals have been achieved since the beginning of the year.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, during the meeting of Iran Minerals Production Company, which was held with Seyed Reza Azimi - Executive Director of Small-Scale Mines Rehabilitation, Activation and Development Project, the measures and achievements of this project were reported as follows:
Executive measures taken in line with the objectives of the project this year, including identification and prioritization of 812 mines, clinical action on 444 mines, rehabilitation, activation and development of 123 mines, rehabilitation, activation and development of 83 mines through infrastructure projects And support and development of 12 processing units.
The plan targeted the rehabilitation, activation and development of 200 mines; While the performance of the project this year indicates the revitalization, activation and development of 206 mines with employment of 2602 people and annual production of 6902 thousand tons of minerals, including metallic, non-metallic, decorative stones and building materials.
According to this report, the executive measures taken in line with the goals of the project this year, the rehabilitation and activation of 146 mines from the 150 mines program of the project (97.3% of the goals achieved), the clinical actions taken for 1020 mines, the identification of 4494 inactive mines, review 2130 mines in the form of 364 projects include the conclusion of 32 memoranda of understanding (16 investment memorandums, eight research and training memorandums, six financing memorandums, two memorandums related to startup development).
During the meeting, Seyed Reza Azimi - Executive Director of the Small-Scale Mines Rehabilitation, Activation and Development Project - announced the increase of added value of mineral products and the development of specialized networks in the mining sector as the most important achievements of the project.
