Iran and Qatar agree to create roadmap for trade relations
The Deputy Minister of Export Markets Development of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, in a meeting with the new Qatari Trade Advisor in Iran, stressed the importance and role of trade advisors in developing trade relations and called for close cooperation between the Commercial Advisors and the Trade Development Organization to promote trade between the two countries.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Mojtaba Mousavianrizi met with Qatar's new trade advisor in Iran, referring to the diversity of neighboring countries, including Qatar, in trade with Iran, which has reduced the effects of sanctions and sustained the country's foreign trade, capacities and capabilities. He added: "One of the opportunities in this field is meeting the needs of Qatar regarding the construction and implementation of World Cup projects and its ancillary issues.
Referring to the need to use the capacity of holding exhibitions and accepting and sending delegations, the Deputy Minister of Export Markets Development of the Trade Development Organization of Iran stressed the role of the southern ports of the country, especially Bushehr and Dir ports in trade with Qatar and the optimal use of existing capacities.
Mousavian said: "Another issue discussed in the meeting with Qatar's new trade advisor in Iran was the status of the joint commission between the countries, which discussed the last Iran-Qatar commission that was held in Isfahan in December this year. Necessary information was exchanged in this regard.
The Deputy Minister of Export Markets Development of the Trade Development Organization of Iran also stressed the existence of a roadmap on trade development strategies between Iran and Qatar and said: "The implementation plan of this roadmap was agreed between the two sides and the role and efforts of the Commercial Counselor and Secretary of Qatar.
