Emphasis on the development of economic and banking relations between Iran and Oman
During the meeting between the Governor of the Central Bank of our country and the Foreign Minister of Oman, the development of economic and banking relations between the two countries was emphasized.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Dr. Abdolnasser Hemmati, CEO of the bank, arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman, today on a two-day visit at the invitation of Omani officials. The purpose of this trip is to discuss the deepening of banking and trade relations between the two countries, given the new international conditions.
Accordingly, today Dr. Abdul Nasser Hemmati met with Omani Foreign Minister Seyed Badr bin Hamad, during which the development of economic and banking relations between the two countries was emphasized.
Also in this meeting, the Omani Foreign Minister, while pointing to the importance of Iran's role and position in the region, considered the expansion of trade and economic relations between the two countries important.
It should be noted that before this and in the meeting of the Governor of the Central Bank of our country with the Minister of Industry and Trade of Oman in Tehran last year, strategies for continuous development and facilitation of banking and trade relations between Iran and Oman were discussed.
