Regarding the volume of Iran's foreign trade in the last 10 months of this year, the Director General of Iran's Customs said: "In the last ten months, Iran's foreign trade weighed 122 million tons and was worth $ 59 billion, which is a significant increase over last month's (December) performance." has it.
Mehdi Mirasharfi, referring to the upward trend of trade in the conditions of sanctions, said: "Iran's foreign trade volume with the world countries in the first 10 months of 1999 amounted to 122 million and 800 thousand tons worth 58 billion and 700 million dollars."
He added: the share of exports of this amount was 94 million and 541 thousand tons worth 28 billion and 63 million dollars and the share of imports was 28 million and 249 thousand tons worth 20 billion and 639 million dollars.
Mirashrafi continued: "Exports of non-oil goods in this period in terms of weight and value decreased by 17.7 and 20 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year, but compared to the previous month, ie December, increased and forecast It is possible that this trend will be accompanied by more growth in February and March of this year.
The Director General of Iran's Customs stated: In the import sector, we have reduced by 2% in weight and 15.5% in value.
Mirashrafi added: "Iran's export destinations in the first 10 months of this year are: China with 22 million and 800 thousand tons worth 7 billion and 200 million dollars, Iraq with 22 million and 300 thousand tons worth 6 billion and 300 million dollars, UAE" The United Arab Emirates with 12 million and 800 thousand tons worth 3 billion and 700 million dollars, Turkey with 5 million and 700 thousand tons worth 2 billion dollars and Afghanistan with 5 million and 800 thousand tons worth 1 billion and 900 million dollars.
According to estimates, by the end of the fall of this year, Iran's exports to China reached $ 6.4 billion, while exports to Iraq are around $ 6 billion.
He said: "These five countries imported a total of 69 million and 500 thousand tons of goods worth 21 billion and 300 million dollars from Iran, which includes 73.5% in terms of weight and 76% in terms of value of exports."
Regarding the countries of origin of goods imported to Iran, the Director General of Iran's Customs said: "Statistics show that China with 2 million and 900 thousand tons worth 7 billion and 900 million dollars, the United Arab Emirates with 4 million and 100 thousand tons worth 7 billion and 400 million dollars, Turkey with 4 million tons worth 3 billion and 400 million dollars, India with 1 million and 900 thousand tons worth 1 billion and 800 million dollars and Germany with 966 thousand tons worth 1 billion and 400 million dollars. .
