The increase in government salaries for the mines took place against the council's opinion
A member of the Supreme Council of Mines, while criticizing the increase of up to 400% of the state mining rights in the new directive of the Ministry of Industry, considered this directive contrary to the agreement reached in the council.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, last week the government rights of the mines were announced this year by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and signed by a number of members of the Supreme Council of Mines.
In this decree, the government rights of the mines are determined based on the price of the product sold in the head of the mine, which shows an increase of up to 400% compared to last year. This resolution has been approved by the Supreme Council of Mines while the signature of Bahram Shakoori, the representative of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in the Supreme Council of Mines, is not included in the communiqué.
In this regard, Bahram Shakoori, while pointing out that the discussion on determining government rights about three months ago, was raised in the High Council of Mines and the proposals of the Director General of the Exploitation Office (which was to increase government salaries) were evaluated, said: It was decided not to increase government salaries compared to last year.
This member of the Supreme Council of Mines stated: According to the joint meeting with the former Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Silence (Dariush Ismaili), Director General of Exploitation (Kavous Ghasemi) and the head of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Mines was held. Do not increase; Unfortunately, despite the council's firm decision not to increase government salaries compared to last year, during the change of the Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Silence, the text of the resolution was changed and signed by the members of the council.
He added: "Of course, it seems that these signatures were done without studying." In addition, the above-mentioned decree, contrary to the procedure and law, has not been seen by me as a member of the Supreme Council of Mines and a representative of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in the council.
Evil is at work ...
The head of the Mines and Mining Industries Commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, while emphasizing that the country's mines, especially small and medium mines, are in an unfavorable economic situation; He said that this situation is unfavorable while half of the country's mines have been closed due to economic problems and some others are working at part of their capacity; An increase in government salaries could be a blow to the weak body of the mining industry in the country.
Shakoori stated: The members of the Supreme Council of Mines did not agree with the increase of government salaries and the announcement of this decree was made against the opinion of the members of the council and it is evil. For this reason, in a letter from the new Deputy Minister of Mines of the Ministry of Industry, we have requested that the issue be investigated. Of course, the new Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry has also promised to be favorable in this regard; We hope that the recent communiqué will be canceled soon.
