One thousand billion tomans of industrial and mining project was ready to be opened in Mazandaran
The head of Mazandaran Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said that one thousand billion Tomans of industrial and mining project in this province has been prepared for opening in the Fajr decade.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hossein Ali Ghavanloo added: "A total of 12 industrial and mining projects will be put into operation in seven cities of Sari, Amol, Babol, Mahmoudabad, Tonekabon, Joybar and Chalous simultaneously with the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution."
He said that by exploiting these industrial and mining units, employment will be created for about 600 unemployed people in Mazandaran.
The head of Mazandaran Industry Organization announced the most important industrial projects ready to be inaugurated in the Fajr decade of this year, including Romak Gostar citrus export terminal with a credit of more than four thousand billion Rials in Joibar and profile pipe production plant with one thousand and 800 billion Rials in Tonekabon.
About 70 percent of the credit for these industrial and mining projects came from private sector investors, he said.
According to statistics, during the last seven years, more than 1,575 production and industrial units in Mazandaran with a credit of more than 79,518 billion rials were put into operation. This amount of private sector investment in industry and mining in the northern part of the country shows a growth of about 140% compared to the previous eight years.
According to these statistics, employment was created for 31,000 unemployed people in the province in the industrial and mining fields during this period.
Kiasar Cement Factory, Alborz Iranian Factory, Writing Paper Complex, New Lines of Dairy and Meat Products of Kaleh, Bahman Steel, Central Coal and MDF Complex are the most important industrial units of Mazandaran that were put into operation during the 11th and 12th governments. Receipts and a 2% growth in industrial employment in the northern part of the country followed.
Currently, about 20 percent of employment in Mazandaran province is in the field of industry and mining, which compared to the previous government, employment in this area increased by two percent.
