According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Dariush Ismaili, Deputy Minister of Mines, decided to resign following the margins created over the pricing of steel.
The text of the resignation letter of the Deputy Minister of Mining of the Ministry of Industry states:
Recalls the resignation of the representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly at the end of the tenth term and the acceptance of the responsibility of the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in order to fulfill the Supreme Leader's order to replace the mining economy with the oil economy. It was the country that I worked on this responsibility for almost a year, and fortunately, the desired effects remained. But at the present time, considering the current situation and the reasons that I do not consider it appropriate to mention in this article, I feel that this responsibility has not been the source of the effect, and therefore submit your resignation and I expect you to agree to accept it.
