Returned checks decreased
Up to 681 thousand checks worth about 221 thousand billion rials have been returned in November of this year in the whole country, which shows a decrease of 7.2% in terms of number and an increase of 3.1% in terms of amount compared to the previous month.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the latest statistics of the Central Bank on the status of returned checks show that in November, more than 8 million checks worth about 1901 thousand billion rials were exchanged in the whole country, which compared to the previous month in terms of number and The amount shows a decrease of 9.4% and 12.4%, respectively. In the reported month in Tehran province, 2 million and 300 thousand checks worth more than 911 thousand billion Rials were exchanged.
In November of this year, 47.8% of the number of exchange checks in the country were exchanged in three provinces of Tehran, Isfahan and Khorasan Razavi, which had the highest share with 29.1%, 10.5% and 8.2%, respectively, compared to other provinces. Also, 60.4% of the value of the above checks have been exchanged in the three provinces of Tehran (47.9%), Isfahan (6.4%) and Mazandaran (6.1%), which had the highest share compared to other provinces.
Receipt checks
More than 7 million and 300 thousand checks with a value of 1680 thousand billion Rials were received in November of this year in the whole country, which shows a decrease of 9.6% and 14.1% in terms of number and amount, respectively, compared to the previous month. Of the total number and amount of checks exchanged in the mentioned month, 91.5% and 88.4%, respectively, were collected.
The percentage of the number and amount of checks received in October of this year were equal to 91.7% and 90.1%, respectively, and in November of last year were equal to 91% and 88%, respectively. In November of this year, in Tehran province, about 2 million and 200 thousand checks were received with a value of about 812 thousand billion Rials, which in terms of number 92.7% and in terms of value 89% of the total exchange checks were received.
In the mentioned month, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the number of received checks to the total exchange checks in the province, respectively, has been allocated to Gilan (94.3%), Mazandaran (92.8%) and Alborz (92.7%) and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces. (82.5%), Ilam (86.5%) and North Khorasan and Lorestan (87% each) have the lowest ratio of the number of received checks to the total checks exchanged in the province.
In the month under review, among the other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the value of received checks to the total value of exchange checks in the province was allocated to Gilan (91.9%), Alborz (91.1%) and Khuzestan (90.7%) and Bushehr (77.8), respectively. Percent), Ilam (79.9 percent) and Kerman (80.7 percent) have the lowest ratio of the value of received checks to the total value of checks exchanged in the province.

And Gilan (5.7%), Mazandaran (7.2%) and Alborz (7.3%) provinces have the lowest ratio of the number of returned checks to the total number of checks exchanged in the province.
In the month under review, among other provinces of the country, the highest ratio of the value of returned checks to the total value of checks exchanged in the province was allocated to Bushehr (22.2%), Ilam (20.1%) and Kerman (19.3%) provinces, respectively, and Gilan provinces. (8.1%), Alborz (8.9%) and Khuzestan (9.3%) have the lowest ratio of the value of returned checks to the total value of checks exchanged in the province.
