Capacities of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad mines on the path of prosperity
The capacities of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad mines, as one of the ways to create employment and boost production, have been on the path of prosperity by doubling the search activities in the government of prudence and hope.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the efforts of officials to boost employment in the field of mines in recent years have led to four-zone capacity measurement studies with an area of five thousand square kilometers in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces, which according to the area of 16 thousand square kilometers It is very impressive.
Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad in southwestern Iran are among the Zagros Basin and mines in the non-metallic sedimentary basin. Although this province is not one of the richest areas in the country in terms of mines, but good potential for creating new job opportunities in this area. has it.
According to the latest data from the Statistics Center of Iran, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces had the fifth highest unemployment rate in the country this summer with 12.6 percent. The flourishing of mining capacities has an important role in economic development and job creation in this region. .
The fourth nitrate mine in the world is located in Dishmuk section of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and in this regard, Iran is among the countries with this strategic mineral and celestine, bauxite, gypsum, cement raw materials and raw materials of bricks and construction materials are among these mines. Is a province.
According to available statistics, the most mines in the province are located in Boyer-Ahmad city with 22 cases and the most active mines are located in Gachsaran city with 12 cases.
Due to its ability to produce export products with the possibility of added value and diversity and dispersion of mineral resources, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad can contribute to economic growth and development programs, especially in deprived areas.
Non-renewability, Anfal mineral resources, the importance of currency and helping to develop non-oil exports, the capacity to meet the needs of a large part of domestic industries in the national economy and the country's development are some of the benefits of mining productivity.
Iran is one of the richest countries in the field with more than 68 types of non-oil minerals with reserves of about 43 billion tons, and according to available statistics, now 97% of the country's mines are owned by the private sector and 3% by the public sector.
Economic experts and activists in the field of mining believe that the attention of more decision makers in the field of economics to this sector and its development can increase national revenues and reduce dependence on oil revenues.
