The time to obtain and renew a business license was reduced
Tax Advisor of Iran Chamber of Trade Unions: Implementation of Article 186 of the Law on Direct Taxes, the process of obtaining and renewing the license to facilitate the acquisition and its time was reduced.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Reza Jafarian explained the ambiguities created by Article 186 of the Law on Direct Taxes: According to this article, one of the steps in obtaining or renewing a business license is to inquire about the applicant's tax debt from the Tax Administration.
He added: "Trade union units have faced several problems due to the spread of the Corona virus, and with the follow-up of the Iranian Chamber of Trade Unions, the National Corona Disease Management Headquarters issued a resolution to facilitate the implementation of this step."
Jafarian pointed out: In order to receive or renew a business license, all union entrepreneurs had to inquire about the payment certificate or the order of payment of the debt subject to Article 186 of the Tax Law by registering in the Iranian system of guilds, from the Tax Affairs Organization.
He added: "According to the statistics of the National Licensing Portal, 94% of these inquiries were answered in less than four days, and 6% of applicants who had tax debts from other economic activities should refer to the Tax Affairs Organization to settle or arrange debt payment." However, according to paragraph seven of the forty-fifth session of the National Corona Headquarters, this tax certificate is not required until the end of this year to issue or renew a business license.
Jafarian added: After following the steps in the registration form, the applicant's information is automatically transferred to the Tax Affairs Organization and immediately the positive answer to the inquiry is registered in the Iranian system of guilds. In other words, the Iranian system of guilds for issuing and renewing business licenses does not wait for the opinion of the Tax Affairs Organization and transmits the applicant's information by inquiry.
He added: "The inquiries were carried out 100% according to the decision of the National Corona Headquarters without any delay and received a positive response immediately."
