Assignment of mines in Kurdistan province on the condition of investment and prevention of raw material sales
Governor of Kurdistan: The mines of the province will be handed over to qualified people on the condition of investing, preventing the sale of raw materials.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Bahman Moradnia in the meeting of Kurdistan Mines Council, stating that preventing the sale of raw materials and creating added value is more than the people's demands, referred to the situation of Kurdistan Steel and said: Qorveh and Dehgolan iron belts from The relief committee will be authorized as the main shareholder abroad and will be given to Kurdistan Steel Industries Company as the executor of the steel chain in order to support investors.
He added: "Valuable iron mines in the province will be handed over to individuals and companies that can create significant employment with proper investment in addition to preventing the sale of raw materials."
Moradnia continued his speech by referring to the law allocating one percent of the annual income of mines to create or repair infrastructure damaged as a result of mining activities and said: not all mines should be viewed at a glance because in the current situation some mines have not been able to earn They have a good one and now and in the first step, this one percent will be taken from the three parts of iron ore, gold and marble.
The governor of Kurdistan stated that the goal of the province's management is to keep the province's mines afloat and said: "We will use all available legal capacities and potentials to keep the province's mines active and deposit one percent of the mines' annual revenue into the treasury account and finally spend Infrastructure will be in those areas.
He also mentioned the transparency in receiving government salaries from the mines as one of the issues in question and added: "Kurdistan Silence Organization should inform the people in a transparent manner and with full details on how to receive government salaries from the mines and where it was spent."
Moradnia said: "According to the law, 15% of the total amount of government salaries is returned to the province, which is spent on repairing and creating infrastructure such as roads."
The amount of government salaries received from the province's mines last year was 106 billion tomans in the first nine months of this year.
