967 billion rials of mineral investment was realized in Mahallat city
The head of the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Mahallat city announced the realization of 967 billion Rials of mining investment in this city this year and said: this amount has been obtained by issuing 10 exploitation licenses in the field of stone processing.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Reza Maleki added: "By launching these production and industrial units, 45 direct job opportunities have been provided in Mahallat city."
He announced a 10% increase in the issuance of establishment licenses in this city this year and stated: 47 establishment licenses have been issued this year in the industrial sector of Mahallat city, with an estimated capital requirement of 4,300 billion rials.
Maleki stated: the operation of these units will provide 784 job opportunities in the field of cutting and processing of stone and ancillary industries.
He said: "There is an industrial town, a district and 2 industrial poles in the city of Mahallat, in which 290 licensed industrial units operate and more than 4,000 sustainable job opportunities have been created in them."
He added: "There are 115 mines in Mahallat city, of which 75 units are active, of which 62 units operate in the field of travertine."
The head of the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade of Mahallat city added: 50% of the economy of Mahallat city from the production of raw and decorative stones has been able to create a suitable prosperity for this city.
Mahallat city, located in the south of Markazi province, has a population of 55,000 and is famous for producing decorative stones, flowers, plants and knitwear.
